Lemon Grass Vietnamese Old Port Rd

A bit of a rai n today and found this place close by for a takeaway. First impression, staff were friendly and always willing to help. I just had a crackling pork bahn mi, fantastic with the chilli. I wished I ordered more. I ordered combi fried rice, crackling pork + lemongrass beef bun bowl, char kway teow & lemon grass chicken bahn mi. I have yet to try everything 😄 😋

One of the best places for a warm, delicious meal at a very reasonable price! Their stir-fried dishes, broth-based soups, and steamed options are all excellent, especially for the price range. The cozy atmosphere makes it feel like dining in an authentic Asian home. They may offer some discounts too, but I’ll have to check next time when I return—because I definitely will!

Gday folks, long waited return on a review definitely worth a shout. Stopped in for a smoko at lemongrass Vietnamese restaurant and grabbed myself a pork roll with chilli and coriander and 3 fried pork dimmys. It’s been quite a while since I’ve touched bass with good ol’ Viet pup and as a long time connoisseur I can hand on heart say this kennel is a big 👍. Near everything I ordered was near perfect, was I dreaming? No. The roll itself was baked on a buttery flakey crust and enough crunchy pork to have your dentist on speed dial. Just the right amount of chilli to put a little spring in your step. 😛🌶️ Fantastic! The dimmys also seemed like they came straight out of viet nannas kitchen, not your Joe blow packet dim. Bellissimo! If you know a thing a thing or 2 about the Adelaide pup scene. This is one to wrap your pie hole around. It stacks up against some of the big players that’s for sure. Have a great day 😛

Might be the best value for money food in the west , lovely service , great flavour , room outdated but had some charm to it . Add a wine list and look out, smaller menu but has all the classic Vietnamese and Thai dishes
